Stockerau is a city in Austria in the Korneuburg district, northwest of Vienna, and a tributary of the Danube River. Stockerau has about 15,000 inhabitants, making it the largest city in Weinfurtel. Stockerau was mentioned as a town in 1012, but it was declared as a town only in 1893, it is considered part of the Viennese metropolis. Stockerau is a railway junction and a regional center of production, retail and services. Leisure facilities are varied: a wellness center, a sports center with three gyms, judo and table tennis halls, a bowling alley and a football stadium. In addition, there are indoor and outdoor tennis courts. Stockerau offers a series of exhibitions, concerts, readings and singing evenings in the cultural center "Belvedereschloßl". In the basement of this castle, built in the 16th century and revitalized by the city community in 1984, there is a District Museum. Between Stockerau and the Danube there is a large forest called "Au".

The 1st District is known for its beautiful architecture, with many buildings dating back to the 19th and early 20th centuries. The district is also home to a number of parks and green spaces, including the Stadtpark, which is the largest park in the city center.

The second district is located on an island between the Danube and the Donaukanal. It is very well connected to the first district but is popular with immigrants and students because of the low real estate prices. Heading further south, you'll enter the Prater.

The third district of Vienna is now called "Landstrasse". In the third district, there are several of Vienna's most important sightseeing attractions. They are concentrated in the north, where the third district meets Vienna's historic core, the first district.
