Carpenter requirements and skills:

• Practical experience in carpentry, joinery, cabinetmaking, or furniture production
• Good knowledge of wood, wood-based panels, fittings, and common construction methods
• Ability to read technical drawings and work accurately from measurements
• Experience with saws, routers, drills, sanding equipment, and other woodworking machinery
• Knowledge of joining, assembly, and installation techniques
• Ability to measure and prepare components accurately for fitting
• Experience with CNC woodworking machinery may be required for some positions
• Safe handling of woodworking tools, machines, materials, and workshop equipment
